1. The key to success is following a routine maintenance schedule.
2. Wipe coolant and chips from exposed ways before moving slide.
3. Do not use compressed air. Clean chips with a chip brush or vacuum.

4. Check and fill oil daily. Apply way oil every hour of use to the ways or as the manufacturer indicates for manual pumps.
5. Weekly, clean the exterior of machine. Clean all hard to reach areas where chips will build up.
6. Changing oil is best between 6 months to 1 year. Use your best judgment when you need to change the oil. If you see the oil is getting dirty or coolant is starting to contaminate it is time to change the oil.

7. Although way covers do an excellent job in protecting the machine, we find contaminates are still able to get under the covers. Disconnect the covers, clean ways and ballscrew surfaces. Do this process every 1 to 6 months.
